Quando o filme ganhou o Oscar de melhor canção, eu não fazia a mínima idéia do que se tratava.

“Once – Apenas uma Vez” é um filme para quem gosta de música.
A história da produção é ótima: o diretor John Carney foi baixista da banda irlandesa The Frames. Largou o grupo para virar cineasta. Com uma idéia de fazer um musical diferente, chamou seu amigo Glen Hansard, vocalista do The Frames, e juntos fizeram 10 músicas. A partir delas, foram fazendo o roteiro deste filme: dois músicos com histórias completamente diferentes se encontram por acaso.

Saí do filme pensando: como eu não conheci The Frames antes…
